SÄCHSISCHE SCHWEIZ kollektiv
Koproduktion: Workshop Präsentation „Das Spaßmotiv“
The motivational theories assume that the motivation of human action is caused by three essential motives: the achievement motive, the power motive and the social motive (also affiliation motive). Saskia Rudat and Ivo Schneider, the SÄCHSISCHE SCHWEIZ kollektiv, believe that one motive, which is important for their creative process within the collective, is still missing: the fun motive. During four workshop-weekends they worked with students from Erlangen addressing the question where creative impulses come from artists, entirely irrational and without a concept, “what they feel like doing”. With techniques from different areas like live art, physical theatre, contact and creative writing they explored the creative potential of the group in areas like space, text, subject matter, body, costume, voice and music. Now they invite round to the presentation, which was developed in a second step through the further development of selected material.
