CoLabs

ARENA productions have always supported and sustained the relationship between young artists and provided them with a platform to realize their projects. Because our artists have become more and more interested and successful in coproducing works with ARENA, we have recently managed to secure funding for our CoLabs, cooperations with groups who create works for and with us.

By CoLab, we mean a dynamic way of producing work, within the context of the ARENA institution and using freelance young artists and ensembles that we recommend. CoLabs provide the artists with an infrastructure for new works or works in progress, which can be individually tailored according to their needs. Residencies, previews, workshops and comprehensive cooperations with other venues are all welcome under the CoLab umbrella. The CoLabs understand the artistic working process and gives their partners free reign of their territory.
